We define clean as minimally processed granolas that are Non-GMO Project Verified and use ingredients that you can see and recognize.

We understand there is confusion around terms like “natural,” so we use more definitive terms you recognize to describe our food, such as Non-GMO Project Verified and USDA Certified Organic. All of our granola is Non-GMO Project Verified. Our premium line is USDA Certified Organic.

All our product packages label the top eight allergens (peanut, tree nut, cow's milk, egg, soybean, wheat, fish and shellfish). These are identified using "CONTAINS" and/or "MAY CONTAIN" statements immediately below the ingredient list.

“CONTAINS” statement refers to the allergens that are in the product’s recipe and ingredient list

“MAY CONTAIN’ statement refers to any allergen that is not in the product’s recipe and ingredient list but may be present despite all efforts to exclude the allergen

Anyone who is sensitive to any of the identified allergens in the "CONTAINS" or "MAY CONTAINS" statement should avoid that food.

Sometimes we use more than one facility to manufacture our products. Because of this practice, we do not provide information regarding specific allergens in our facilities or information about our equipment, as it may change.

We take allergen control and food safety very seriously. We are confident in our allergen procedures and are committed to providing our consumers with packaging that clearly states all information regarding the top eight allergens. When we share a line or facility, each is cleaned thoroughly between the time we use it to produce one product and the next.

We evaluate each line and if an allergen might be present despite all cleaning efforts, we will include a "MAY CONTAIN" statement on the package.
