Bear Naked: All Natural Granola, Oatmeal, Low Sugar Cereal and 100% Organic Hot Cereal
 
 
¾ cup Bear Naked® Rolled Oats
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
6 egg whites (or 3 eggs)
½ quart fat free buttermilk
¼ cup melted butter
  1. In a large bowl, mix Bear Naked® Rolled Oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine egg whites and buttermilk. Mix well.
  3. Gently mix liquid ingredients with dry ingredients.
  4. Add butter and stir just until butter has been worked in. Be sure not to overmix.
  5. Preheat waffle iron to med-high setting.
  6. Pour ¾ cup waffle mix onto waffle iron and cook.
    Waffle iron time and temperatures may vary; it is generally 4-6 minutes/waffle.
  7. We recommend topping with fruit preserves or non-fat cool whip with fresh fruit.
