1 cup Bear Naked Appalachian Trail Mix
Apple sauce

- Slice apple in half (pole to pole) and scoop out seeds, forming a deep, round cavity in each half
- Sprinkle apple halves with cinnamon, tapping apple to remove excess
- Place apples cut side down on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes (depending on size of apple) until apple is slightly softened (should have slight resistance to being pierced with a fork)
- Flip apples over and top with Appalachian Trail Mix (about ¼ cup), filling cavity
- Spoon 2-4 teaspoons of apple sauce over trail mix
- Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top of apple sauce
- Return to top shelf of oven and bake for 5 minutes (skin side down)
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
