The land of the Peacocks was the home of the Portland Warrior Dash and the last Warrior Dash of the Bear Naked 2011 Tour.
Bear Naked was there giving the needed energy to those warriors who needed it. The basic 10,000 warriors taking on the tough 3.2 mile course was not the only thing taking place this weekend,we also witnessed a warrior wedding!
It was the perfect way to end the weekend and our Warrior Dash events.

This week the Bear Naked Granola tour hit Copper Mountain, CO for Warrior Dash.
This by far had to be one of the toughest courses i have seen being on Tour this year. 10,000 feet above sea level to monstrous hills . but that didn’t stop the thousands of warriors who came out and took over Copper Mountain resort and turned it into a true Warriors camp, Bear Naked was in the center of all the festivities.
Bear Naked Granola gave the energy needed to the Warriors so they could conquered the hellish course.
We also were visited by two special guests who decided to run the course and take me along with them.. Me and running 10,000 feet above sea level don’t mix…

10,000 feet got nothing on us!! well that wraps, another week on the road… Next stop Seaside, OR for hood to coast… here we come sun and beach…. hopefully sun.

Bear Naked arrived in Mt. Morris (Flint, Mi) rated the most dangerous city in America but that didn’t stop us nor the 26,000 Warriors who came out to take on the 3 mile obstacle course. Dangerous city or not they still needed energy! and we gave it to them despite the nearly 100 degree weather.. first Warrior Dash that it didn’t rain!
The Bear Naked obstacle part of the 3 mile course, is nothing to turn your head at..
We had a BA come all the way from Florida to hang out with us, take photos and give out Granola to finishing Warriors.

The recurring theme of Warrior Dash events that Bear Naked has been at is rain… rain… and more rain this week was no different but that didn’t stop us or the thousands of Warriors who came out.
Bear Naked was there giving Energy to those Warriors who finished the 3.18 mile course, we were also there giving the Warriors a chance to remember there accomplishment with a photo.

Warriors arrived Saturday morning to the pouring rain, lighting and the sound of thunder, but that wouldn’t stop the first wave of warriors from taking on the course that awaits them.
The Bear Naked Team awaits the first wave of warriors.
Amesbury MA Warrior Dash was by far the toughest start to a warrior dash yet. but once the warriors conquered the massive hill’s, thunder, rain to start and venture into the dark forest, nothing could stand in there way from finishing.

Bear Naked arrived at its second Warrior Dash in Channahon IL this past weekend to an astounding number of Warriors ready to conquer the course.
Bear Naked Granola was at the start line giving energy to people before they took to the mud and many new obstacles that awaited them.
For the second time in two weeks the excitement of Warrior Dash hit our BA’s and one of our Tour Managers.
This weekends Warrior Dash in Channahon IL was a scusses, making it one of the larger turnouts this year for Warrior Dash. Everyone stayed, relaxed, took pictures in our Bear Naked Photo booth and enjoyed Post and Pre Bear Naked Granola, and maybe a large Turkey leg.

Warriors unite to take on the 3.5 Mile obstacle course and see if they have what it takes to be called true Warriors.
The course isn’t just your run of the mill Obstacle course, and Bear Naked made sure of it ( photo below) It holds challenges for everyone, from running 1.5 miles through ankle high mud to scaling a 25 foot wall and crawling under barbwire. What better way to start your weekend?
Some Warriors worked as teams to accomplish the course, it wasn’t all about themselves
Bear Naked Granola was awarding some of the toughest Warriors around with some Delicious Bear Naked Fruit and Nut Granola
But that wasn’t all that happened this weekend.. once the sun started to go down and the rain started to pick up some of our staff decided that they were going to test there endurance and see if they had what it takes to be called Warriors.
It didn’t stop there for those who know me you know i don’t let a challenge down and if you remember last year i was challenged to run a race, this time … Let’s say i got talked into running in the last wave of Warrior Dash Albrightsville PA.. i began my warm up by throwing Tomahawks and calling out my inner Warrior because i new i was in for one wild ride.
The gloomy rainy weather added a whole different obstacle for the Warriors to over come.. but in the end nothing would hold us back from finishing!
