Bear Naked Granola showed up at 5am Saturday and Sunday in Colonial Beach, VA to give energy to the 500 participants looking to win it all.

While most people dream of living on Mercer Island, with it’s picturesque views of Mt. Rainier, Seattle and close proximity to Bellevue the theme of this race is to get off this beautiful foot shaped island. Broken into three stages – typical for triathlons these days – participants will be swimming a half-mile, biking 12 miles, and finishing off on a 2.5-mile run.  We will be there handing out delicious Bear Naked parfaits and granola bars. See you on the Rock!

The moment you all have been waiting for is upon. Danskin Triathlon has returned to Seattle and again we are going to be there giving everyone delicious all-natural deliciousness. Aka Bear Naked Granola parfaits.

Genesee park is the location of this awesome event. Don’t know where Genesee Park is? Throw it in the google machine, because I don’t either.

If you like to swim, bike, and run join the Fireman Tri (olympic and sprint distance courses) in Kennebunk, Maine on August 29th!  We will be at the finish line serving Bear Naked granola and yogurt parfaits to refuel you after your awesome race!

No we didn’t think of the name. But we did provide some delicious Bear Naked Granola samples to participants! If you’re able to make the event don’t forget to grab yourself one of those and a coupon or two!

And it’s true Bear Naked can’t think of a better way to spend our weekend than supporting one of the best overall events for everyone in the family than this awesome SeaFair Triathlon. And its also for a good cause, the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) is an international leader in immune system and autoimmune disease research.

Come one come all to this great event! You will even see one of our very own Bear Naked staff members participating, we love supporting the SeaFair events in every way.

Do you like to swim, run, and ride?! Come join the fun of Tri-ME’s Urban Epic- a triathlon in downtown Portland, ME! Not participating? No worries- cheer on the participants and stop by the post-tri festival! There will be live music, craft vendors, and of course yummy snacks including fabulous Bear Naked granola and yogurt parfaits!

Saturday June 12 we are heading down to Cape Cod to help support the participants of the Hyannis Sprint Tri!  This Time Out Productions event is part of their 26th Annual New England Tri Tour so come out for the Tri and stop by for a Bear Naked granola and yogurt parfait!

Friday we went out to the last Bike Friday at the City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston. This terrific green initiative is supported by the Mayor and Hub on Wheels, and it encourages commuters to ride their bikes in to work instead of driving! We were excited to make it out to the last Bike Friday of the season and hope to join in the fun again next year!

Sunday we wrapped up the tour with one final event up in Kennebunk, Maine- the Fireman’s Triathlon! It was a gorgeous day and we had a blast serving parfaits and snack packs to the participants and the enthusiastic crowd! At first the free pancakes served by the American Legion seemed a bit tough to compete with, but as tales of our free parfaits and shopping bags snaked through the crowd we soon had people running up to our table in droves! One woman even exclaimed that her “daughter is ignoring her pancakes and eating my parfait- I came back to see if I could get her one of her own!” We of course obliged and were happy to serve her, her daughter, and the rest of this great crowd!
