If you live on the North Shore come on out to DMSE’s Run Gloucester event! This inaugural event promises to be a new classic as a gorgeous 7 mile road race along scenic Cape Ann! We will be at the finish with some Bear Naked snacks so come join the fun!

For those of you outside of the 206 Seafair is how Seattle-lites celebrate summer. Each neighborhood has a parade, festival, or event that brings the community together. This all culminates when the hydroplanes hit Lake Washington and the Blue Angle soar into the skies. Typically this coincides with the Torchlight Parade and Run, which go though downtown. This year the powers that be decided to mix things up and hold the parade and run the week prior to the main events.
And what a run it was! This year’s 5k and 8k destroyed all previous records with nearly 6,000 participants. We were there at the start/finish line serving up fresh Bear Naked Parfaits and Grain-ola bars to almost every single one of them. Not to mention all of their friends and families. It was a great event with live music, an announcer we couldn’t get enough of, and people dressed to impress for the all important Pirate’s Booty “Pirates Adventure” Costume Contest.
Can’t wait for next week!

Last chance before the big race. Super Jock ‘N’ Jill’s third of three fun runs to get you prepped and ready for the Seafair Torchlight Run which is just hours away. Grab your running shoes and eco friendly water bottle as we dominate the 3.3 miles that encompasses Green Lake.
Immediately following the run there will be a raffle with Super Jock N Jill hookin up shoes, apparel, gift certificates, and some awesome Bear Naked goodies. And of course we will have post run nourishment in the form of fresh Bear Naked Parfaits. Not hungry after this intense run? Grab a Bear Naked Grain-ola bar for the road.

Come out to Hopkinton State park for the Mass Breast Cancer Coalition’s Against the Tide event! There’s a run/ walk, swim, and even a kayaking event so come on down and participate or cheer on the racers, and don’t forget to stop by our bright orange tent for a Bear Naked snack!
