Bear Naked arrived at its second Warrior Dash in Channahon IL this past weekend to an astounding number of Warriors ready to conquer the course.
Bear Naked Granola was at the start line giving energy to people before they took to the mud and many new obstacles that awaited them.
For the second time in two weeks the excitement of Warrior Dash hit our BA’s and one of our Tour Managers.
This weekends Warrior Dash in Channahon IL was a scusses, making it one of the larger turnouts this year for Warrior Dash. Everyone stayed, relaxed, took pictures in our Bear Naked Photo booth and enjoyed Post and Pre Bear Naked Granola, and maybe a large Turkey leg.

Warriors unite to take on the 3.5 Mile obstacle course and see if they have what it takes to be called true Warriors.
The course isn’t just your run of the mill Obstacle course, and Bear Naked made sure of it ( photo below) It holds challenges for everyone, from running 1.5 miles through ankle high mud to scaling a 25 foot wall and crawling under barbwire. What better way to start your weekend?
Some Warriors worked as teams to accomplish the course, it wasn’t all about themselves
Bear Naked Granola was awarding some of the toughest Warriors around with some Delicious Bear Naked Fruit and Nut Granola
But that wasn’t all that happened this weekend.. once the sun started to go down and the rain started to pick up some of our staff decided that they were going to test there endurance and see if they had what it takes to be called Warriors.
It didn’t stop there for those who know me you know i don’t let a challenge down and if you remember last year i was challenged to run a race, this time … Let’s say i got talked into running in the last wave of Warrior Dash Albrightsville PA.. i began my warm up by throwing Tomahawks and calling out my inner Warrior because i new i was in for one wild ride.
The gloomy rainy weather added a whole different obstacle for the Warriors to over come.. but in the end nothing would hold us back from finishing!

On Saturday, June 4 from 8 AM to noon, join us as we help members of the US Forest Service with some much-needed trail maintenance on Game Creek Trail in Minturn. Locals know it as run-out from the “Minturn Mile” and this popular ski and snowboard run sees plenty of year-round traffic. Members of the US Forest Service will offer instructions, create assignments and lead volunteers through the trail restoration.
Come prepared to work outdoors with appropriate clothing, water and sunscreen—layers are recommended. A light breakfast will be provided, along with some Bear Naked swag and all are welcome!

We’re kicking off our 2011 Live Bear Naked Tour June 2 -5 at the Teva Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado! We’re absolutely stoked to be part of the largest celebration of adventure sports, music and the mountain lifestyle. We’ll be sharing pure and natural granola samples in our booth and cheering on incredible outdoor adventure athletes (and their dogs!) as they compete in kayaking, boulder climbing, mud runs and more! The Sanctuary Spa at the premier SF Bay Club hosted a “Healthy From The Inside Out” breakfast featuring Bear Naked cereal. Spa Director Stacie Smith specifically requested Bear Naked to be the sole breakfast offering at the event. The Bear Naked crew served its healthy line of breakfast cereals and granola parfaits to members and guests all morning!

On Aug 6, RadioShack launched THE SHACK promotional campaign “Netogether”. The Shack is all about keeping people connected in this highly mobile world through innovative technology and services. For three days, two larger-than-life computer notebooks with always-on webcams and huge screens will connect NY (Times Square) and SF (Justin Herman Plaza) with live video and audio exchanges. With a mix of performers and participants on opposite coasts, there will be live music, enertainers, games, and real-time connections with loved one during the course of 3 days of wall-to-wall connectivity.
Bear Naked served breakfast to audience members and event staff on Day One of The Shack Launch event. This is the FIRST time our team sampled Bear Naked’s cereal line with non-fat milk and blueberries. We offered two flavors including Cranberry Raisin and Banana Nut. They were a complete HIT and we received amazing kudos!!!!

RadioShack will be launching The Shack campaign simultaneously in New York and San Francisco. They will be connecting Times Square with Justin Herman Plaza via two huge computer notebooks with live video and audio exchanges. Throughout the event, the notebooks will provide a forum for entertaining ways to connect with others that are 3,000 miles away. With a mix of performers and participants on opposite coasts, there will be live music, entertainers, games, and real-time connections during the course of 3 days.
Bear Naked Granola is excited about the opportunity to partner with RadioShack for this exclusive event. We will be serving breakfast to participants on Thursday AM to kick things off!

The Decathlon Club, a premier health club and part of the Western Athletic Club family, hosted their Summervana Zumba event on their expansive stadium tennis court. Both ladies and gents kicked it to the groove of Latin/hip hop beats in the summer evening. Bear Naked was on the court to kick things off on the right foot!
