The Urban Assault Ride is the biggest bike scavenger hunt series in the world. You and a teammate will take to the streets on a city wide bike adventure. Plot your own course to various checkpoints around the area. There are routine physical and mental obstacles throughout the length of the course.
Beer and Bear Naked granola parfaits: the new burger and fries We met some ridiculously outfitted teams with either ’80s spandex, trippy hippie colorways, and/or Harley buffs. A wide spectrum of people raced with big wheels and accessories up the hizzie! You guys were great!!

A regular triathlon, but with a twist…the athletes may choose in what order they choose to run, swim, and bike. It was crazy to see how the order simply played to each athlete. Some better, some worse. But all fun. The racers performed with flying colors, the expo area was filled with grub (some serious Bear Naked granola, too), and the day was absolutely stunning for a tri event! It’s a good thing we brought a lot of parfaits because we ended up running out of product. I’m glad everybody got to try one of our distinguished parfaits

The Fast Forward 4 Miler event exclusively shut off City Park for this fun race. The racers got to lap the park all to themselves…those lucky, lucky racers.
It seemed that the word spread quickly about our Mango Agave Almond flavor. Once the association of the agave nectar being linked to tequila was formed, sampling numbers quickly increased three-fold! We met some fanatical racers with our brand that declared Bear Naked to be in their morning rituals. You guys aren’t the only ones. See you guys next time.

This event was STELLAR. I couldn’t believe the hardcore triathletes that come from all over the country to these events. Some of the winners had just flew in from another state the previous day. Not only that, they ran a triathlon the day before. Race, rest, fly to CO, race, fly home, race, race, race. So hardcore. I love to see such dedication and commitment to a sport. It’s very inspirational.
The Expo day was so great. We really got some one on one time with the families, athletes, and supporters of the event. On occasion, we would even get the meanderers that were just chillin’ in the sun at the beach. A beach date on Boulder Reservoir is on my list of “things to do”. Many came with furies of hunger, requesting that they sample a little of each flavor. I’m stoked that they got to try of it as much of it as they did. They got the full Bear Naked treatment
Race day. I saw some individuals with claw marks on their back from the swim. Some looked like they took a digger from their bikes and received some minor road rashes. Finally, some serious massages to the legs finished off the run. These athletes haul! We have such respect for these athletes. Seriously, nothing can hold them back. We got some seriously beaming smiles from our parfaits. For many, the parfaits just hit the spot. We had a lot of athletes ask us if we were going to stay after the event to sample…of course, dudes and dudettes! We’re here to support all of you. And when they came for that shear parfait…shear delight. Yum yum.

For another time, these guys did it again. Even with some thunderstorms and heavy rain in the Denver metro area, beautiful Boulder prevailed with stunning sunshine and sublime weather. I was met with probably the biggest BN fan yet; the last time I had seen him, I had given him a bright orange BN shirt. Sure enough, I was greeted with this guy reppin’ our stuff. He pretty much volunteered himself to help out at the tent. Much thanks to Charlie- my official BN bro.
Otherwise, the turnout was great. Many showed, got their race on, and got to enjoy some BN parfaits at the end of their race. As this was the third time at the weekly Stroke and Stride events for the BN tour, I was given much gratitude from the racers, attendees, and directors alike. I couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks so much for the support, Boulder. Peace out.

Swing by Boulder Reservoir for some parfaits. We’ll be kickin’ it with the Boulder triathletes.
I had a great time sampling Round 2 with these guys. I had a group of young guns come up for a couple of parfaits and realized I had a couple of youth sized shirts. I then decided to create my BN Chow Squad. Fueled with some Heavenly Chocolate parfaits, these tykes went out and repped our stuff like a bunch of pros. This was definitely an unforgettable moment in BN history.

The Freedom 5k is a beautiful race that winds through the hills of Evergreen, Colorado. This scenic race is held once a year to benefit the Mount Evans Hospice. Each year this event brings out runners of all ages (the youngest being 6 and the oldest being 88) and a plethora of spectators as well. It seemed like some refueled at the post-race fill station, but MANY felt they needed to try one of our Bear Naked parfaits. And with the lines as it were, individuals and groups patiently awaited their freshly made parfaits. Some even came back for fifths!
Hope you all had a great 4th of July.

Washington Park is one of the largest parks in Denver that features several trails, tennis courts, croquet fields, volleyball fields, playgrounds and beautiful gardens. Because of it’s central location, it is a hot spot for locals to get out and play in the Denver sun. And for that, we enjoyed watching a giant field filled with volleyball enthusiasts training for Sunday’s big tournament. Many were barbecuing, grubbin’ down, and overall enjoying the sun. We threw them some granola of which seemed to make their day. Enjoy that holiday weekend with some of our Bear Naked granola!
We also made the highlight picture of the tour with our new friend seriously chowing down on some Fruit and Nut.
