Due to the fires in Boulder, two of our events this weekend have been canceled. Because of this, we surprised some soccer fans and a few soccer complexes in the area and gave them tons of granola and coupons!

Tomorrow we will be at the Aurora Reservoir for the Harvest Moon Triathlon. Hopefully we will see you there!

We had a packed weekend with the Denver Oyster Urban Adventure Race on Saturday and the Outdoor Divas Tri on Sunday.

The D.O.U.A.R. was an all day event in which teams of 6 raced around Denver trying to find clues and complete challenges. We were happy to be in the transition area to keep all those racers fueled with our yogurt and granola parfaits!

The divas in the Outdoor Divas Tri kicked some booty! They loved our granola and were very excited about our bright orange grocery bags!

This past weekend the Denver team was busy busy busy! We went to the beautiful Leadville, CO and attended the two-day Rocky Mountain Bicycle festival. There were bike shops from all over the country showcasing their most unique and sought-after bikes! Some of our favorites were tandem mountain bikes, Black Sheep’s 36 inch wheel bike, and Panda’s bamboo bikes! It’s always fun to be around people who love the outdoors as much as we do!

After returning to the Denver area, we went straight to the Muddy Buddy race in Boulder. There were people dressed in all kinds of costumes from dirty school girls, to wrestlers, to jail birds, to the cast from The Wizard of Oz! After the costume contest, everyone geared up for a bike ride and run followed by crawling through the infamous mud pit! Bear Naked was one of the favorites according to all those muddy buddies!

For those of you who participated in this awesome race, you rock! And for those of you who didn’t, here’s the scoop. This is a race, well more like a scavenger hunt, through cities all over the country. Of course, our city was Denver. People came in teams of two all dressed up in costumes such as tooth fairies, wonder women, nerds, bumble bees, doctors, and more! They had to figure out clues that told them where to go next, and at each destination had to complete different challenges! It was a blast.

And, OF COURSE!, everyone loved seeing the bright orange Bear Naked tent out there! We were able to fuel these racers both before and after they ran all through Denver.

Denver had an awesome week this past week! Hopefully you were able to catch us as some of our events. We did some awesome local races, hiked in the beautiful CO mountains, and supported all the women participating in the Tri for the Cure!
