School starts and some new faces marched in from the campus streets.  This particular Whole Foods, located adjacent from Colorado State University, had some serious samplers that headed straight to us directly from the campus.  We were stoked on seeing such a young crowd!  But we didn’t forget about the locals; we hooked everyone with an unforgettably orange bag.  Good luck this year, CSU alum.

This nationwide series was a great Bear Naked experience.  The ladies took the head start while the men had to wait a couple minutes to start their race; hence, SkirtChasers.  If anything, fellow guys, it seems like the ladies named the event FOR us.  We found some awesome Bear Naked fans who swore their stomachs to us.  We sampled to about 800 of our fans.  Thank you for taking a nibble at our parfaits Skirt-wearers and Skirt-chasers.

The National Western Complex in Denver held this year’s most exciting bicycle show. We got to see some of the finest custom frame-builders, production bike manufacturers, components & accessory companies.  I couldn’t believe the imagination and pure inventiveness of these bikes’ creators: some big wheelies, recumbents, traditionals, and the hand-crafted.  Absolutely amazing what these guys can do with their hands and a box set of tools.

As far as parfaits were concerned, my guess is that we sampled to 75% of the crowd this past weekend.  And if anything, we gave out a reusable bag to each family.  I also found a little friend this weekend who I have seen at past events.  He had told me he had made a Bear Naked poster out of all the stickers and leftover bags he and his family had consumed.  He said he couldn’t even imagine a day without his Bear Naked breakfast.  He imagined it would be something along the lines of what the Mayans had proposed in the year 2012.  Don’t worry, little man, I feel the same way.
