As always we were there giving out fuel to the Warriors to complete the dash or recover from it.

In the past few weeks Warrior Dash has introduced a couple new obstacles one which is called “Hard Rain”. At the Hard Rain obstacle you have to scale a wall with water pouring down on you and slide down the other side.

We love having fun while we work and all along the tour we have been doing just that, letting our staff run the Warrior Dash.

This past weekends course was not on to be taken lightly with “Hellish hills” and “Capsized Catamaran” as two of the obstacles one had to conquer.

As if a day’s worth of  crazy obstacles, Granola, and Turkey legs were not enough for people, Warriors also had the opportunities to camp out like true Warriors over night.

Overall a great weekend for Bear Naked and Arkansas Warriors.

Every week is never the same.. yes we are always at a Warrior Dash.. but you never know what to expect when it comes to weather. This past week we had to deal with high heat warnings, severe weather warnings, hail, thunder storms and rain.

Between all of the weather issues we had to deal with this past week we still were able to have a great weekend fueling the warriors with energy and we even had some of our VML guys in the house.

Bear Naked cruised into Florance Arizona this past weekend.

Our journey from city to city isn’t always eventful but this times our drive from Texas to Arizona was. We ran into some people who really enjoys Bear Naked Granola.

During our drive we decided to stop off in the middle of New Mexico for lunch something other than Granola.

During our road side lunch a Black fully tinted SWAT SUV pulls up right next to us, the driver rolls down his window looks me straight in the eyes with a dead straight face, then beings to lift up a bag of Fruit and Nut Granola and tells me how much he Loves Bear Naked!

The two Passengers in the SUV were on their way to do a little SWAT training to stay sharp, and Bear Naked was there energy to do so.

Glad to see that our service man and woman loves Bear Naked Granola!

Saturday and Sunday Arizona Warrior Dash went off without a hitch.. Some Warriors even got to experience a new type  of obstacle “The Sand Storm”  a few unexpected runners were ambushed by random sand storms that would kick up on different parts of the course throughout the two day event.

We are Warriors after all and a little sand storm has nothing on us!

Bear Naked was at the finish helping people by giving them energy to recover.

The Sand Storms were not the only highlight of the weekend, We were once again joined by Dave Lamb who competed in his 2^nd Warrior Dash and came in second place in his age group.

Rob the newest member to the tour ran his second Warrior Dash and cut 10 minutes off his time., and is dedicated to run in every Warrior Dash on the tour to try and win a kickass Vikings Helmet trophy.

I also ran with Dave Lamb and one of our awesome Arizona Brand Ambassadors wearing a GoPro (Video Coming soon)

With the excitement that is Warrior Dash and Bear Naked, Our Arizona staff all got a chance to take on the course, and I am happy to report they all finished!

In the end we learned that Arizona is really hot, and you never know when a Sand Storm is going to make and appearance, or who you may run into…

Next  stop Kansas City see you all there!

They have a saying here in Texas that “everything is bigger in Texas” we have to agree to this because our sampling tent is HUGE!

We also learned that Texas is the land of the butterfly and Bear Naked Granola Grows off of the trees.

Bear Naked has sponsored a few of the areas around the Warrior Dash course this year and one of those obstacles this year is the Warrior Roast.

What is the Warrior Roast you ask? Well it’s rows of flaming hot logs that you must leap over before heading to the beloved mud pit.

Bear Naked was at the two day event doing what we do best… giving fuel and energy to those Pre and Post Warriors and our Brand Ambassadors were eager and ready.

along with our Brand Ambassador’s eager and ready to go our newest team member to the 2012 Bear Naked tour decided to take on the Warrior Dash course for the first time ever right out of the gate.

And he did not do too bad for his first Warrior Dash! He survived and that is what matters the most. Good Job Rob!

The long weekend concluded with the last wave coming through the finish around 5:30pm.

This year Bear Naked Granola teamed up with Warrior Dash! for the next 26 weeks we will be traveling the country giving people the energy they will need to take on the Warrior Dash course and recover from it.

For our kickoff event in SoCal we had a very special guest come join the team…..

Dave Lamb also known as Kashi Dave came to join the Bear Naked Team and also decided to run in the event! Dave has participated in over 60 Races ( Marathons, Half Marathons, 10k’s and 5k’s) but this would be his first ever Warrior Dash.

How did he do you ask?

He finished like a true Warrior! and also won!

Congratulation to Dave Lamb for winning his first ever Warrior Dash race! Go Team Bear Naked!

Next stop for this years Bear Naked Tour will take us to Dallas TX! See you all there!

It turned out to be a beautiful day for runners and on lookers Runners started there long journey to the coast at 8am the previous day and the first team came running through the finish line around 7:40 am the next day and started the trend of teams arriving in Seaside, the last team didn’t roll in till the sun started to fall behind the horizon.. but arrived just in time to enjoy the festivities and fireworks

This by far had to be one of the toughest courses i have seen being on Tour this year. 10,000 feet above sea level to monstrous hills . but that didn’t stop the thousands of warriors who came out and took over Copper Mountain resort and turned it into a true Warriors camp, Bear Naked was in the center of all the festivities.

Bear Naked Granola gave the energy needed to the Warriors so they could conquered the hellish course.

We also were visited by two special guests who decided to run the course and take me along with them.. Me and running 10,000 feet above sea level don’t mix…
